Dear Lola,

I just wanted to take a second to tell you how much I love you. You are changing so fast right before my eyes and I can hardly believe it. You have brought such happiness and joy into my life and I look forward to each and every day with you. Thank you, little one, for teaching me so many things I didn't know before.

My cool chair

My sweet Aunt Stephanie gave me this really cool vibrating chair. I like to fall asleep in it sometimes after a big bottle and a few burps. Mommy likes it because she has discovered that it helps me stay calm so she can take a shower when I am up during the day. Thank you Aunt Stephanie! I know Mommy thanks you too!

Mommy's grandfather came to visit this week. I am his first great grandchild! It was a special day for our whole family.

Lola's first night in her little bed. I know, I know, no blankets, toys, etc. for safety reasons. What can I say, we dressed it up for the shot and asked Lola to pretend she was sleeping.

Introducing: Lola Kristine Cook, born February 27, 2007. Lola weighed in at 7 lbs. and was 18.5 inches long. Lola was born @ 1:53 pm. Talk about an "afternoon delight".....JEEPERS!!

When Lola was 2, (days old that is), Lola got to take her first car ride. She got to relax in the backseat in the pouring rain, but before that proud Mom & Dad pose with their little baby girl. Take a look at those cheeks! I don't know.....are those Mommy's or Daddy's cheeks? I think Mommy's heart-shaped face is shining through. Don't you?
